jungle animal mobile

I have finally finished it...
it only took me nine months!

I got this idea to create my own mobile from another
person's blog.

Pros: completely customizable, very cute,
and very inexpensive (I think I spent $6 in materials)!

Cons: super time consuming, next time I won't make
it quite as detailed as this.

This was my inspiration for my animals,
I just traced the stickers and then enlarged them
to make my own pattern. The animals are made
from felt and embroidery floss, but you can use
whatever works for you. The round part is
just the inside of a wooden embroidery hoop that
I tied strips of green flannel to.
All in all I'm quite pleased with how it turned out,
just wish I would've finished it a lot sooner!
